About Elena Gizzi
Elena Gizzi is a registered nurse and Measured's Head of Patient Experience. She is the clinician named on Measured's glossary pages about insurance, cost and the telehealth process.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing in forensic nursing from Duquesne University (2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington (2018). From 2018 to 2022 she worked as a labor and delivery nurse, first at EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, Washington, then at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma. During that time she also served as a sexual assault nurse examiner and coordinated EvergreenHealth's forensic nurse team.
Elena spent twelve years in the US Army as a Medical Services Officer, on active duty from 2012 to 2016 and in the Reserves until 2024, where she commanded a field hospital headquarters company and left as a Major. Since 2022 she has worked in digital health operations, first at Float Health and, since November 2024, at Measured.
