Which GLP-1 medications are approved for type 2 diabetes?

Mounjaro, also tirzepatide, is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults and children 10 and older with type 2 diabetes; chronic weight management is not an approved Mounjaro indication [3].
